Holy epic Friday Batman. I feel like it's super Friday or something.
I was hoping to have a really chill day, but I've got a couple of reports to finish up, so, yeah, I'll actually be working. Oh well!
Last night was pretty great. Derek got the dishwasher fully hooked up and running while I made dinner (and cookies!) and then we hung out for the rest of the night. We watched Full Metal Jousting (I sort of love that show) and Greys and it was lovely.
Tomorrow Derek's parents are coming down for the day to celebrate his birthday and then I'm headed into Toronto for a bachelorette party. After that, well, just working around the house and relaxing!
How is everyone today? Any fun weekend plans?

Happy Friday the 13th! And happy last day at work, raynes!
Last night my FSIL and I had a great time. We went out to dinner and then went makeup shopping. The girls at Sephora did a great job selecting makeup for her. She looked great and it was a really nice wedding day look.
Tonight I had a lovely evening of laundry and packing planned. We're headed OOT tomorrow morning for a 30th b-day party so I'm hoping to get quite a bit done tonight so that tomorrow it will be easy getting out of the house in the morning. Other than the b-day bash I have no other plans for the weekend.
Well..it's baby day. i had contractions for hours last night but waited for DH to get up and we headed to L??? and D. As soon as they put me on the monitor, the contractions slowed down but baby's hr was super high. They ran in a lot of fluid and baby calmed down a bit but contractions are back.
My OB is on call and he wants to do the section today because he thinks even if the contractions slow, they are sporadic and I will end up in triage eveery day anyways until they do the section.
I think dh is going to cry right now.
raynes - can you update our bmb since i never got a labour buddy?
Section will be 'this afternoon' so I'll try and keep checking in.

Tomorrow we are hopefully dropping the boys off at MIL's for lunchtime and DH and I will go for a ride on his bike, the weather is supposed to be beautiful. Tomorrow night we are headed to NH to catch up with some friends. I'm excited to see them as they adopted twin girls last year, and I like comparing how things are going.
Sunday, DH has a baby shower (He's so good to go since it is another nurse on his floor,and he will be the only man), and I will go pick the boys up. Then I'm hoping to get outside and play for a while, before doing weekend chores.

Yesterday was horrible. Long story but MIL and DH had an argument which resulted in a huge mess. I wish he would just realize his MIL is never giong to be the grandmother to our kids he wants her to be and let it go. I feel like he spends so much time wishing she would be a part of the kids life he misses out on things himself.
I am hoping today is better. Actually I am giong to make today better! Tonight is Jordans first official game of the season. I went and bought him a new bat last night and he is super excited. He has a cheering section coming to the game so he is happy about that. His teacher from school, her husband, and their son are coming which he thinks is awesome. I love his teacher and I am so excited to be living so close to her when we move.
Tomorrow I am going to take the boys for haircuts then head down to the house to work. We have another baseball game tomorrow night.
Sunday I am hoping DH is off work and we can go to lowes and do some shopping.

My evening last night sucked (see other post), but I took today off and once I get showered and dressed will be hitting the town for maternity clothes.
I've had a pretty constant headache for the past week, which has been super annoying but not bad enough to put me out of commission. So I decided to treat myself to a chocolate croissant for breakfast. Good news is that I feel a lot better. Bad news is that's probably not good for my health if that's the only thing that will get rid of my headaches!

Good morning, all. Last night was quiet--got home, had the simple dinner, lights off by 9pm. Because we're exciting like that, we plan to do it all over again tonight.
This weekend will be quiet. I have a review to write and some work to do for the website. I also plan on doing some list making for the trip. Long run's also on the schedule. Josh has to work on Sunday, so I plan on taking it easy and maybe going to the mall to pick up a few things for the trip. We'll see.

It's been a very long week, and I've barely been around. Work has just been nuts. I'm so happy it's Friday, even if I will have to work a bit over the weekend. Tonight, B and I are headed to a nearby suburb to check out a new car. We've been test driving some lately, and we have a leading contender, but this one other car seems to fit all our "must haves" so we want to drive it and make a decision.
Tomorrow, I'm headed to a local baby store to finally order our crib. I'll feel much better once that's done. I feel like we've been slacking on getting ready for baby and there's still tons to do. I know we have time, but I also know that if I don't start now, it will never get done.

Happy Friday. I'm losing my ever loving mind.
I have a crap ton of work to do, only half of the stuff I need in order to do it and it's all on a deadline. My weekend isn't going to be much better. Tonight we have comps to the NSO Pops concert with Sweet Honey in the Rock (awesome) and I need to make the grocery list. Saturday, we need to get groceries, buy a mattress (we are dependent on BILs truck), get an Rx filled and go to a wedding reception in Chevy Chase. Sunday we have tickets to baseball and dinner at SILs, but whatever doesn't get done on Saturday, including laundry.
It doesn't help that I can't make my brain focus on anything other than my mountain of medical appointments and related expenses. I need a vacation from myself.

Happy Friday the 13th ladies! Today I'm hoping for a relaxed day at work and to get out of here early. Tonight I'm having a girls night with Jason's cousin who's going through a divorce. We're ordering in and watching chick flicks in our pj's.
Tomorrow I'm going with two of my good friends to a giant baby sale. Everything is pre-owned but in new condition. I'm mostly going along for fun, but if I see something super cute or a really good deal I might pick it up.
Sunday the weather is supposed to be crappy so I'm planning on sleeping in, cleaning/organizing the house and grocery shopping.
Also, happy done with work day Raynes! I am sure you are looking forward to the time to prep for the little one.
Today is the last day in the apartment. We are moving tomorrow. I have been so unbelievably busy trying to get this, that, and the other thing done, it is rather overwhelming. On the whole though I am mostly excited. This is going to be a good move for us.
I was talking to my mom yesterday and she asked about a graduation gift for DH and I told her we really need another bookcase. I am sending her a link to the one at ikea we have had our eye on and we are both looking forward to finally being able to take all our books out of storage. (is it strange that I am absolutely bursting with excitement because of this bookcase?)
Other than that we really don't have much going on this weekend. It is going to be good.

Happy last day of work raynes! Boo for actually having to work today though, what's up with that!?
Last night was pretty uneventful, just had a glass of wine and hung out with my bff. Tonight I'm going over to my sister's to help her get ready for her "Girl's Weekend". She has several people coming over to do massages, facial, nails, toes, waxing, card reading, sale purses/hats etc. She has scheduled everyone for all sorts of fun stuff over the course of the weekend. I get a mani/pedi, eyebrows waxed, anda facial on Sunday. I'm also getting my cards read, I think that might be interesting. It should make for a fun weekend.
I also need to find sometime to get my house cleaned this weekend and possibly bust out some of my homework. I think I'm world's largest procrastinator. Oh well. I need to find a cute oufit too. We are getting family pictures taken Monday night.
Sheesh, sounds like a busy weekend. Hopefully I can get it all done. I think I'll need a day off just to recover. Have a fantastic weekend ladies!
