How is Maggie doing? Also, how are YOU doing with it all?
Re: Krissy
Maggie is doing well. Honestly, seeing her come out of the anesthesia was an awful experience I hope I never have to experience again. She screamed and cried and pulled at her IV. The nurses kept saying to calm her down, but nothing would work. It took over an hour to get my normally happy baby to calm down. Once we got home she was better. She took a nice 3 1/2 hour nap and that helped. She spent most of the day on the couch watching movies. We gave her tylenol which also helped.
One thing that does suck is the doctor said her congestion has made its way to her chest. It does explain why she has been more irritable than normal the past few days. So we have to keep an eye on her to make sure her cold doesn't get worse. Stinks that she just can't be healthy for a while.
I am doing ok. Just rolling with the punches for now. Vacation is 22 days away and I couldn't be more excited! My parents are coming with us and they need the break too, so it will be nice. Thanks so much for checking in with us!
