He said this in an interview: ?I?m all for vaccinations, but I think that when you add all of these vaccinations together and then two months later the baby is so different ? I?ve known cases,? he says. When co-host Gretch Carlson interrupts him to say that most physicians disagree with this position, he dismisses the idea: ?Yeah, I know they do. ? I couldn?t care less.? (At least he didn?t say ?could care less.?)

Then he put this on Facebook yesterday:

"I?ve gotten many letters from people fighting autism thanking me for stating how dangerous 38 vaccines on a baby/toddler under 24 months are. It is totally insane ? a baby cannot handle such tremendous trauma. Now they come up with this ridiculous study blaming obesity in the mother. The FDA should immediately stop heavy dose vaccinations and you will see a huge decrease in children with autism. What do they have to lose?nothing?but plenty to gain if I am correct. There is great dishonesty about autism!"

Vaccinations are important. However, I did not allow more than 2 shots per visit. The doctors want to give 3 or 4 at once and I said no. My intution told me to let my child's body process the vaccines a little at a time. To me it was common sense.

What does the FDA have to lose by decreasing vaccinations? He cannot be serious. I refuse to believe he honestly believes this garbage. (Sadly, whether he believes or not, others will/do. And shame on him for perpetuating that bull.)

Also? Who the fundge does he think he is? He is talking like he's stating facts, when they are actually his own [ridiculous and harmful] opinions.

Pumping them with 4 vaccines at once never sat well with me. So I spaced them out more. My pedi's were fine with it.

To me it's common sense that given there's absolutely zero scientific data to show that delayed schedules actually do anything, you should probably shorten the suffering of your child by getting as much done in one go. Unless you love making multiple trips to the doctor to listen to your child screaming while being stuck with a needle because it makes your dumbazz feel better to really draw it out.

I feel misunderstood. Yes, I did pay more copays. I just feel its asking for trouble to inject too many at once. I dont see anything wrong with pacing all of these vacs. All up to date now, my point was that its a process and every child is different, it doesnt have to be rushed.

The # of pokes is not what concerns me, or being tramatized. Its the literal introduction of up to 4 vaccines in one single visit that bothers me.

Sugar, the issue was your wording, you said your view, which is just intuition based on paranoia and not backed by any facts, is common sense. Which implies that those of us who actually follow research and experts are not using common sense. That is why you got the response you did.

I think it's fine to space them out as long as the baby is up to date. I don't care if you do the other vax in between visits because that means the child still follows the timeline. However, the issue was yor first comment which implied your way, which is based on feelings of a non expert, was the common sense rout.

My intuition tells me that you do not understand immunology.

I know that vaccines give the immune system a preview of a germ, bacteria, virus etc. so that if ever exposed, the body has already mounted a defense to fight off the illness.
