s/o TTC, what's that charting book?

I've officially decided to go off the pill because it's really messing me up, but we're not ready to TTC.  What's the name of that charting book everyone was talking about?

  • Taking Charge of Your Fertility?
  • Probably "Taking Charge of Your Fertility."

Which reminds me, I need to dust mine off and sell it on CL ;) We are DONE! :)

  • Use the phone ap. Its great!
  • You can download it for free if you sign up on the fertility friend website. It's powerful though! PG on first cycle LOL!
  • Beware. . . 2 of my friends used the book's method and were charting to avoid and both had unplanned pregnancies.

  • I tried reading this book and to me it's kind of daunting!  There is SO much info!!  My husband gets home in a month so hopefully I figure it out by then... ha ha!  I don't want to have to use condoms but I really don't know what else to do.  I am very happy to be off the pill though. SO far nothing crazy has happened... I think I do have less headaches, and I like knowing I'm not on it. My period has been regular, and actually my cramps were worse on the pill (knock on wood). My skin has broken out a little but that is nothing new so I can't really attribute it to going off.
  • Lurker here... charting to TTA does work but you'll need to use condoms for a couple cycles til you get used to your cycles.

  • I'm late on this but we used charting to avoid for a year successfully.  I got pg the second cycle we TTC.  It does work but you want to be extra careful the first several months while your body is adjusting to not being on bcp.  I know this sounds risky but we used the good old fashioned pull out method during days I thought might be risky or just avoided all together (plenty of other fun things you can do!).  Once your cycle levels out it becomes much easier.  Good luck!  It was my favorite method of bc aside from my IUD.
