Do you have any fruit trees?
Tomorrow we're going out to pick up a couple trees to plant in our side yard. Currently we have a dwarf orange in a wine barrel, a boysenberry, and a pomegranate tree.
I know I want a lemon tree. Do you have another tree that you love that you would recommend? I don't want anything messy as it will hang over our walkway and don't want to deal with stains.
I'm thinking maybe tangerine?

Re: Do you have any fruit trees?
Hey, long time no see!
We've lucked out in the avocado department. My aunt and uncle live on an avocado orchard one town away. We're totally spoiled with them! When we were kids, we used to roll the wagon to the end of the street and sell them 6/$1!
Hi! Yeah, I'm around now and then, but don't post very often.
Nice that you have an avocado hook up! I'm thinking about the other fruit trees we have and a lot of them are kind of messy. The only other one I can think of would be a lime tree, which we don't have either. We got a lemon tree last year and are looking forward to when it starts producing fruit. Anyway, you're probably already out getting your trees. Hope you got some great ones!
Well, we totally scored at Lowes and Home Depot! We bought a:
peach
nectarine
apricot
cherry
plum
lemon
lime
and tangelo!!! Can't wait for our orchard to start producing!
Once again i'm so jealous of where you live! Lol. I would kill for fresh fruit like that, we have raspberries which is nice when they produce.
My Inlaws have a lemon tree in their yard at their Arizona house and it requires almost no maintenance, which is great for them because they're only there 7 weeks out of the year.
We definitely get lucky here as it's rare that we get freezing weather.
And for the record, some of my trees have been planted for about an hour. No fruit yet. Guess I'm not making a pie tonight
