Good places to let LO's run around in DW

Any idea's? Something off the popular paths so he doesn't get in other peoples way? DS is getting to the point that he doesn't always want to be in the stroller so I want to give him sometime during our visit to run around and burn off energy while we are at the parks.  All I can come up with is Tom Sewyer Island at MK and maybe a garden or two in Epcot. Any other ideas?

  • The Boneyard at Animal Kingdom is super fun and has water features for splashing. The tiki statues in Adventureland at MK spit water and are great. There's a small green space called Snow White's garden right by Germany at Epcot that's perfect for drinking beer while kids run around. Hopefully others will chime in.

  • There is a small playground under the train tracks near Splash Mountain in the Magic Kingdom, but Tom Sawyer Island would be great to run around too.  The Boneyard is a great playground at Animal Kingdom, as is Honey I Shrunk the Kids in Hollywood Studios.  At Epcot there is a little play structure inside Mission Space, just go in the exit.  Also if the weather is warm, kids can play in the ground fountains at Epcot- over near Test Track.
