American Idol results *sp*
I was shocked with the voting. Obviously Hollie has more fans than I assumed she did. I'm glad they used the save because Jessica didn't deserve to go home. I agreed with Jimmy's bottom 3 prediction: Hollie, Elise, and Phillip.
Do you guys think America got the bottom 3 right or wrong?

I'm usually a lurker, but last night results kinda irked me.
I didn't agree with the bottom three as voted, but c'mon its a popularity contest. The majority of the people that are voting don't know squat about music.
I'm also getting a little tired of Jessicas "I just want everyone to know how hard I've been working my ENTIRE life" Yeah we got it sweetheart, you've been working as hard as everyone else on the show. Grats!
This! They have to skew the votes to keep their ratings up. Also, they needed to use the save either this week or next week, and if Holly was voted off they wouldn't have used it of course, which means next week everyone would already know that person would be saved so there would be no surprises. Absolutely 100% staged.
My DH said "And who knows the actual vote count? Nigel maybe. . .So rigged." I agree!

This was exactly my thought. It looked completely staged. I felt the same way about the guy who they sent home early because he had a warrant or a police record or whatever. I think they brought him back just to kick him off, and the meeting between him and the producers was the tipping point for me. So staged.

Basically, Randy Jackson told America to "vote for the best singer" meaning Jessica. Yes, she might be the best singer, but I would not buy her album or go to her concert. SHE'S F-ING ANNOYING! I would def. go see Colton and a couple others.
And like a PP wrote the whole, "I have been working hard my entire life"..... ( with her hands in front of face)....YOU ARE 16!!!!!!!!!!! Entire life? Gimme a break.
I was happy with the results of the bottom 3, but it is totally staged and if I were Elise, Colton, or Phillip I would be pizzed. I saw the look on Elise's face and I would tell she MIGHT be like" WTF?"
