You are not going to believe this...
So I just phoned the doctor's office again to double check on my numbers so I could figure out what to do and it turns out SHE READ ME THE RESULTS WRONG!!!! It's not 4.41, it's 441 which is totally normal. WTF. Also, Hurray!! But mostly, I'm just all over the place right now.
Going in next Wednesday for another blood draw to see what happens but today isn't the worst day in the world yet. What a freaking rollarcoaster.

Re: You are not going to believe this...
Whaaaa????? How did she get something so important so wrong?
But the important thing is yay! Fingers and toes and everything crossed for you.
OMG. That is awsome news
Next time you see her, can you give her a bi***slap from IN? I get very excited for you ladies, and I wasn't joking when I said my heart dropped when I saw "bad news" and your s/n below the thread title.
I'm so, so excited for you to hear that nitwit read the results wrong!! Congrats!!
What the WHAT WHAT??? I'd be pissed at the doctor. You have no idea how big of a smie just stretched across my face though. I'm sitting here grinning at the computer like an idiot.
I really hope things stay the way they're supposed to! Like meggers I've got everything crossed for ya.
This this this this this!!! I felt so bad for Pitt. She needs to get high fived in the face with a chair. (I'm borrowing this colourful expression from the TK/TN/TB lingo:))
I had the opposite happen to me. Labcorp messed up my blood with someone else and told me I was pregnant when I wasn't. Which means they told someone they weren't pregnant when they were.
Good luck!!!
^ says it all.
so happy for you, pitt!
Congrats!!!! That is awesome news!!!
I completely agree with the b*tch slap...since we will kind of be neighbors soon I could do it for you
Phew! Keeping all crossed for you. And there's a place in hell reserved for the person who made the big mistake.
Oh my! That is wonderful news! I'm so thrilled for you.
Is there someone you can file a complaint with? That is completely unacceptable and hopefully will never happen to someone again.
For real, Pitt. That's bordering malpractice. That was some nasty nightmare her incompetence put you through.
Wooooooot!!!!!!
And oh my freaking word, the woman needs to get some glasses. You don?t tell a pregnant woman that her betas are so freaking low that she?s going to miscarry. You just don?t make that mistake. Ever.
Can you pick up some cheap reading glasses at the drugstore and hand them to her when you go on Wed. and tell her they are compliments of glitterfart. maybe along with the address and phone number of the next optometrist and an appt. to go get some new glasses?
I've been in such a good mood today because of this news.
Here's to a happy and healthy 9 months.
2012 Reading Challenge
Now Nesting from Chicago, IL My nail blog:
What a roller coaster of emotions you have been through in the last few weeks!!! What would have happened if you hadn't called her back to double check?!?! Gone out to drown your sorrows?
The main thing now is that you are pregnant and I wish you a very happy weekend and healthy 9 months!! Hugs!!!
(and I'm with Glitterfart on getting her dome cheap reading glasses!! Boots do them!!!)
"I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels." -Isaiah 61:10 NKJV
Chronically hilarious - you'll split your stitches!
I wrote a book! Bucket list CHECK!
