You know your a mama when.. (nH&Fr)
You let your child throw up in your hands so you do not have to scrub the carpet.
At least he is playing now and acting himself.
Re: You know your a mama when.. (nH&Fr)
Been there. Done that.
...you know your not a mom when your mouth drops open after learning that people let their kids puke in their hands.
Glad he's feeling better.. but dang, you are tough.
Well we have been up all night with him throwing up. Poor little guy got to the point of dry heaving. I got the bucket out after the first time though. I really didnt want him to puke in my hands I was in the process of giving him meds and it just kind of happened.
Awww =( My Mom used to put a bucket by our bed .. now I put one by DH when he goes to bed drunk ... HA HA HA ... that hasn't happened in a SUPER long time - but after his bachelor party there was definitely a bucket by the bed.
You know your a wife (or mom) when you put a bucket by the bed to prevent cleaning puke up off the floor (??)

Yep, did this with our dog just yesterday. And, no, it wasn't the first time. Washing your hands repeatedly is so much easier than cleaning the carpet for sure.
Poor kiddo
I hope he feels better soon!
Why is it a knee jerk reaction to put your hands out to catch it when your kid throws up? lol. I've done it too. Then I was like "sh!t. now we're both covered in puke."
ha, this is what i was going to write.
