Is stretch denim out?

I still see a lot in stores, but it feels outdated. An I wrong?

Re: Is stretch denim out?

  • Do you mean like jeggings (leggings made to look like denim)?

I don't know that they are necessarily "in", but I have a pair that I still wear occasionally, but not as much as I used to a couple of years ago, and I still see girls wearing them, and yes, they are still in stores.

I think it was super popular a couple of years ago, and maybe less popular now, so I don't think you are totally wrong in your assessment.

  • As far as I'm concerned, I'll never again buy jeans without at least 2% Lycra or elastane. Most premium jeans seem to have a bit of stretch for comfort. But if you are talking like "pajama jeans," no, I wouldn't say they're terribly "in."

Lol! I don't think pajama jeans were ever in... Just something about jeans that you can buy at Walgreens. But I tried on a few pairs of jeans today that felt so stretchy that they seemed cheap and tacky (despite that they were 7s).

  • I, for one, am a fan of structured denim that has a bit of a stretch to it. It makes it so that I don't get that saggy-ass look about 6 hours after putting on a pair of jeans.
