Anyone curl their hair to get "beachy waves"?
How the heck do you do it? Any tips, tuts, etc?
What do you use? Ive seen Bed head has a wave roller and a curlypops iron but i have no clue where to begin.
TIA

Re: Anyone curl their hair to get "beachy waves"?
I have natural curls and when I want wavy hair I use the Remington 3 in 1 styler, 4 piece set. $24 and it comes with the dryer and attachments. You can only order it on Targets website or maybe amazon...it's a light blue color. But I get my desired look in 10 minutes. I'm lazy and don't like to spend time on these things...but I always get compliments on my hair.
The attachment is a cylinder. You put a piece of hair in and it swirls it like a tornado. Then I spray it with product to let it set and do the rest of my hair the same way. Then shake out your hair at the end...wa la!
I want to try it too. My hair has just enough natural wave to it that I get truly awesome hair when I'm at the beach or pool, especially in a humid place (not so much in my native Colorado). I would love to be able to recreate that look. I think my waving iron makes unnatural crimped waves. Braids make it too tight. And other methods create more spiral curl than wave.
My dryer is just about to die anyway, so I think I'll go ahead and replace it with this one.
Thanks for the recommendation! I'm looking forward to trying it out!
It gets rave reviews on MUA with I think 12 reviews. I also watched a couple youtube videos and the girls using it had straight hair, and I really liked the results. They all had really long hair, though, and mine is shoulder length, so I wonder how well it will work with shorter hair.
