Breastfeeding Moms?

I just completed my 1st long run since my son was born, but OMG my poor boobs feel like they just got beat-up.  Sad   I'm sure it was the unsupportive, too small bra.
I'm now a 32D or 34DD cup size!  YIKES.  Can anyone recommend a bra that can help me keep my girls under control?  TIA

Re: Breastfeeding Moms?

  • I liked Moving Comfort bras (with adjustable straps) when I was nursing.  Or two really tight bras (take them off as soon as you're done exercising to avoid plugged ducts).

  • I just got a Moving Comfort bra (Fiona) off Amazon and I LOVE it. It is really supportive (I am also a 32-34 D-DD) and the adjustable straps are ideal for nursing. Not intended that way, but such a nice bonus :)

  • I usually just layer two (or sometimes even 3) cheapie sports bras. I get mine at F21 for $8.

  • I also wear Moving Comfort and find them extremely supportive.  I went to my local running store and a woman helped to fit me.  It ends up the one I was wearing was a bit too small so I suggest trying on various sizes to see what fits best.

  • I double up on sports bras or wear a sports bra and a tank top that sucks me in (I always forget what it's called but I think shapewear is the right word) but it really holds everything in place nicely!

  • I just get cheap ones and layer under my compression tank from Old Navy.  It helps keep everything under control.  I'm about a 38DD.

  • I also double up or wear one with a built-in bra or compression top. Just be sure to take them off ASAP.
