Ava has 2 pairs and we love them! The problem is they have started to stink and so do her feet! Ugh. She has to wear close toed shoes to daycare and these are perfect because she can take them on and off by herself. I don't want her to be stinky!! Haha. I don't know if maybe I should try odor eaters or something. Any ideas?

Re: Do your kids wear toms?
Thanks! I was wondering about washing them. I guess the canvas ones would be fine but prob not the glittery ones. They already have tons of glitter falling off. I will try the baby powder.
If you can't wash them, I would try making a paste w/ baking soda and water, then using a toothbrush to scrub the inside.
How are the shoes holding up? I've been wanting to buy my girls a pair each, but I keep hearing that the kid ones wear out quickly!
Even the glitter ones? They already have so much glitter falling off!
Baby powder isn't going to do anything about the odor. Fill the shoes with baking soda and leave it over night until the odor is gone. Keep the odor away by filling a pair of old socks with baking soda and placing them in the shoes each night.
This was the only thing that kept my teenagers' shoes from killing me with odor every day. lol
