BB lovers...Origins makes one now
$35, Perfect World SPF 15 with white tea and age defense. Available in 6 shades.
This I would like to sample..I love Origins!
Re: BB lovers...Origins makes one now
Ugh, I would be excited about this if it weren't for the SPF 15. I think this is my biggest beauty product pet peeve - all the cosmetics with spf 15 or 20 when we should be wearing 30+.
Review it if you try it. If it's amazing, I might try it but would have to wear an spf moisturizer underneath.
I will, but it won't be for awhile.I'm trying to use up what I own right now
I just returned a bunch of stuff. But if I were to try one it would be Origins or Clinique....my skin loves these brands.
I always felt the same way until I was reading some random skin care blog or article or something and the doctor pointed out that not only should we be wearing SPF 30, but we should be wearing a lot more than we would be if we relied on our foundation (or powder or whatever) to provide it.
So she said that we're way better off wearing the right amount of SPF lotion everyday and consider any face makeup just a bonus (basically, not providing any sort of safety features - just as makeup).
I thought that made a lot of sense (and more importantly meant I could try out all sorts of product I'd previously discounted).

What didn't you like about the Clinique BB? It's what I use and I'm just curious! It's the only BB I've tried.
That makes sense, but I don't like this advice
I don't like the idea of an extra step, and especially dislike adding any additional lotion to my oily skin. Now that it's warmer out, I haven't even been using moisturizer duing the day. Do you just use a spf moisturizer all over and then apply makeup on top? What do you use? The best thing I found was CeraVe AM, but it still kind of smells like sunscreen to me.
Someone on here recommended a SPF 50 finishing powder. Maybe I'll replace my current powder for this for extra sun protection on top of my current BB that has SPF 30. Here is a link if anyone is interested. http://www.colorescience.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=jar50%5F10g
I spent 6 hours in the direct sun the other day with only the Clinique BB (spf 30) on my face. After four hours I was pink on my arms and applied spf 50 sunscreen to them when I realized I had forgotten to use any. I didn't add any additional product to my face and wasn't burned or tan after 6 hours. Although, I guess the lack of getting a tan or burn doesn't mean that there isn't UV damage.
Yup - always SPF moisturizer first and then makeup. But - I have really, really dry skin. So, I need the extra moisturizing regardless - oily skin would definitely put a hitch in things! I need that layer of moisturizer under my makeup to make my makeup sit nicely.
But I could never use enough makeup to provide enough SPF coverage. I mean, for it to be effective, you're supposed to use a pretty significant amount and I wouldn't be able to use enough makeup to get there, so I think I'd need to layer anyway.
Apparently, mineral makeup provides a bunch of natural sunscreen. Most don't say it but just the components of mineral makeup itself are physical block sunscreens (like zinc) so a layer of that might help, too?
It felt too thick and didn't blend easily for me then halfway through the day my face felt like an oil slick. I already have oily skin so I just felt gross. I normally like Clinique.

thank you for the recommendation!
Thanks! I've never heard of this and it might work really well for me!
I second this, it is very thin and layers well under anything! I use it everyday.
