So we should be wearing SPF 30, but most foundations only provide 12-18...
Any specific brands to recommend for SPF under foundation?
TIA
Re: Let's Talk SPF...
My DDF right now is spf 45
I just bought a josie maran from sephora to try and it's 40 spf. It was a bit cheaper than the DDF, which is sort of pricey.
It does have a slight scent when you first put it on, but once your skin absorbs it the scent is gone.

Awesome recommendations, thank you! So do you use these in lieu of moisturizer? And then wear foundation/teint on top?
These are both daily moisturizers. I use them and then put foundation/TM on top.

I use CeraVe AM lotion in the morning (it has SPF 30). During the summer or if I'm outside for longer than an hour I wear Neutrogena Age Shield Face.
I use this everyday. I use retin-a so SPF is a must, plus I am from FL so I am used to always having sunscreen on. My derm said to make sure I use something that says "helioplex" or "full spectrum" on it. Hope that helps.
This is strictly sunscreen so I wear a moisturizer over it. It is completely dry and non-greasy. It's great for my breakout prone skin.
This is what I use. I also use Retin-A, so SPF is a must. But I try to stay as natural as possible and I love that this is a natural sunscreen and lotion.
I use this: It's a tinted physical suncreen. I love that it blends into my skin with no white residue and since it's physical, I don't have to wait 30 minutes to go outside! It was highly recommended to me by friends whose doctors sold it.
