Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

found a house!.... finally
I haven't been as active on this site lately - just trying to take one day at a time during while still living together during the divorce - but wanted to share my news.
I started house hunting in November and after... what was it... 2 auctions, 2 short sales, one foreclosures and two regular sales... so that was 6 offers. I finally got one!
I am set to move into it in about 2 weeks. It needs updating but nothing major. just cosmetic.
Many of you said to skip the short-sales and foreclosure and you were right. This was a plain sale and went through rather painlessly.
