How is everyone this fine morning? What's your game plan this week?
I'm not dragging this morning as much as I thought I would be. We were awoken (awakened?) at midnight by this awful screaming animal sound in the field behind our house. We have no idea what it was. It sounded like a cross between a cat/dog/coyote/turkey. It went on and off for over an hour. We couldn't see anything and I didn't see anything this morning...so we have no idea if it was an animal or the Jersey Devil.
It's going to be 90 today so I'm trying to move as little as possible. I don't know what I'm going to do for dinner but I know I don't want to cook and the grill is dead. The rest of the week should be low key. We have to lower Sophia's crib mattress tonight because we found her standing in her crib this morning.
Re: Good Monday Morning, MNers!
I'm dragging this morning as well. DD is currently fresh as ever, blowing raspberries on my lower back as I sit at the table drinking my coffee. The baby is still sleeping...in her own room! I put her in there last night and she did really well. Only waking up once at 5am to eat.
Not sure what we've got planned for this week. Hopefully visiting a long time friend that's in the area and I think we're going to hit the beach with my new neighbor-friend.
I need to get caught up on what is up with you! 2 girls!! How exciting!
I have a lot of cleaning to try and tackle today! We had some pretty solid thunderstorms roll through last night so I think it is going to be a nice cool day based on the refreshing kind of morning it has been. I may work on the patio and look for a new pool for DS.
I PM'd you!
I got crazy sunburned on Saturday but it seems to be gone today already (probably from drinking crazy amounts of water). I'm pretty thrilled about that. Today I have to go get my Tuberculosis test read and get my CPR card renewed this evening. Later this week I'm going to the hospital to do all the paperwork for my new job. I start next Monday so I'll probably go shopping for some lunch foods over the weekend. Other than that and schoolwork I have zero activities planned.
Good morning! I'll be hitting the gym M-Th and then going to see The Lucky One with a friend on Fri followed by another busy weekend. Can't wait!
I'm LOVING the warmer weather. Hopefully we can get a family walk (or three) in this week.
Pink eye is going around day care so I'm hoping we all avoid that but chances are looking slim since the baby we watched last Fri night has it now. Dang.
Of course I am finding out. You say it as if you don't already know that I am a control freak.
The U/S is May 2!
Woo!
I had a busy weekend, complete with a trip to L&D for contractions. Everything's okay, just supposed to be taking it easy until I can get in to see my OB. I feel like Baby B flipped vertex, which would be super wonderful news.
I like Mondays because Emily, aka the housekeeper whom I love oh-so-much, cleans my house while I'm at work.
ETA: It's snowing here and I'm crabby that the AF doesn't have maternity outergarments.
Yay for Baby B flipping...boo for contractions but maybe it was just due to all the flipping around in there. Put your feet up and hydrate!
I'm penciling that in on the calendar.
Yay for flipping babies and housekeeper and clean houses!
Also can you please return my PM. Thank you
Hi! Monday was nice and productive here, but I am heading to bed. We got a lot accomplished with the house, thanks to the IL's letting us know that they will more than likely be visiting in the next couple of weeks or so.
How do you plan an overseas trip less than two weeks out when you own your own business ?
They're also planning it around when SIL delivers her baby, so they won't buy tickets until after that. I just find it weird. But they're spontaneous people.
Honey Badger I am jealous you already have the date for your U/S! Cross your fingers they will send H with me when I go. I don't understand why I have to train hours away for an ultra sound... but at least I'll get Chili's and a decent NEX out of the deal!!! I am going to call tomorrow to see if they scheduled my appointment yet. They do things quite obnoxiously around here, but I'm sure it's necessary for the surroundings and situation.
Good Morning!
I walked with my buddy this morning it was lovely! Then she told me she has all sorts of redwood planks from taking down a deck and we can have some for our raised garden beds, I'm a little too excited about that!
I'm working today, going to work on a baby blanket tonight, and then picking my dad up from the airport this evening.
Chilis, NEX, and an ultrasound?? You, my friend, are winning! Let us know when you're going. Will you be finding out what baby #2 is?
I feel like all of you pregnant ladies went from BFP to halfway or more like overnight.
I cannot believe your first is already 2, Hilly. Crazy talk.
I'm off work today (my boss gave me three days off in a row, I don't know what on earth happened, this is unprecedented unless I ask!) so I'm catching up on schoolwork since this is the last week of the semester, going to the gym later, and waiting impatiently to hear any news about H's getting RA to come home for a little while.
I'll probably do laundry tonight and veg out in front of the TV catching up on Army Wives (I just got into Season 3)
Oh and I found out I am definitely not pregnant. I have mixed feelings, we are definitely not ready for a baby yet, with H in MOS school for the next 8-ish months and me in college still, but I just melt every time I see a baby come into work (and there seems to be so many of them!).
Good morning! Add me to the list of people that are dragging. But I've come to accept that this will be my new "normal" from now on.
I need to call the dentist because B's spacer fell out this weekend so I need to get that put back on.
And I need to email the florist to let them know we've decided to go with them, but have changed the plan a little bit.
I got B's birthday party scheduled so that's one less thing I need to stress out about, and the wedding plans are coming along.

I'm here, for now.
I do NOT want to be at work.
Today is amazing. Why? Because I don't HAVE to do anything. It's 1pm and I just got out of bed- still in my PJs. I don't have to be at work, I don't have to do anything wedding related, it feels so liberating!
Today I'm spending some much needed quality time with my cats, then taking SIL out to use a sushi groupon I bought a few weeks back.
