I have been lurking over here off and on for a few months and figured I should introduce myself-I'm normally on the Pets board.
I am a former water polo player, and gained a lot of weight during college, due primarily to inactivity. Since graduating in December, I have lost 24 pounds by eating a paleo diet. I'm going to be starting a CrossFit intro class April 30th at my local box, and am very excited but also pretty nervous.
Ideally, I'd like to lose 50-60 more pounds, but I think it will end up being less as I add muscle with CrossFit. I have always been a muscular person, and I'm looking forward to getting back in shape!
ETA: I'm also an avid FiveFingers wearer, and wanted recommendations for FiveFingers that are appropriate for CrossFit. I was thinking the Komodo Sport, but would love some input.
