Outdoor runners- Which side of the road?
I googled it and the consensus seems to be to run against traffic. I found this:
You want to run facing traffic because?
- ?you will know when somebody is coming.
- ?two heads will have an opportunity to avoid a collision (you and the driver).
- ?in some areas, it is illegal to run or walk with traffic at your back.
- ?if everybody did this, then you would not have to worry about passing somebody going in the other direction while two cars are also vying for road real estate at the same time.
- ?drivers expect you to be running towards them and predictability makes you safer.
This post is brought to you by the biitch who yelled "Wrong Side!" at me last night. lol.

I've been yelled at before too! It's so annoying.

I always, always face traffic.
I've seen too many crazy azz drivers swerve over to the side of the road, so if they're going to do this, I want to be able to see them coming!
Was she running, too?

Yes. And it's not a busy road at all, just in our neighborhood. Cars go really slow and I even yielded to her. Some people are just cranky I think
No stroller either, just me.

I've been yelled at too! But, you are correct, you should run towards traffic.
TECHNICALLY, you can get a ticket for walking on the wrong side of the road (with traffic). You should point that out if she yells at you again.
