10k deferred
Daisy's deferring of the Boston marathon got me thinking. I'm signed up for a 10k in May, but with potentially not being able to run for the next 5 weeks (as long as everything progresses positively), I e-mailed the race organizer to explain the situation. She allowed both DH and I to defer our race fees to next year's race (which she's considering turning into a 5k and a half-marathon.) I have to say, she was incredibly kind (I met her last year and the woman really organizes a well-put together race), wished us luck, and told me not that she's looking forward to seeing us next year (with a baby waiting at the finish line.)
