PIP: is this too trendy (chandelier)

Am planning on getting this for our  master

walls will be silver sage/bedding very light

i think its so pretty, but wondering if i'll get sick of the shadeimage around it...

the rest of the chandelier in our house will be black or oil bronzed so i wanted the upstairs to be airy

Re: PIP: is this too trendy (chandelier)

  • How much is it? If it's only $200 or less, I say get it. If you get sick of it in a couple of years, you could sell it on CL for $100. but if I was going to spend upwards of that, I'd be wary.

it is less then $200 -- that's what i was thinking too unless my husband kills me but i think it'll accents the room nicely

Agree. I'd only get it if I didn't mind replacing it if/when I got tired of it.

  • I think it's pretty! you could probably just remove the shade if you got tired of it.
  • A lady that I babysit for has the same chandelier but with a black shade. I love it in person! I think for under $200, it will be a good addition a master bedroom.

  • I agree go for it!  If you get sick of the shade there is a possibility you could remove the shade later and still use it as a chandelier anyway.  I think that would be a fun light to lay in bed and look at from below.

The nice thing about the shade is that if you look right at the light, it won't bother your eyes.  I like it!  It is trendy, but if you like it, go for it.
