Marathoners who completed their last LR this past weekend
Since I know that there are a lot of May 6th marathoners here.....
I feel like I'm getting increasingly stiffer as the day wears on. Obviously yesterday's 20 miler wasn't the "end all be all" to my training and I have 3 scheduled runs this week.
Are any of you stiff and a bit sore? What are you doing this week to combat the feeling?
Re: Marathoners who completed their last LR this past weekend
Foam rolling! And ibuprofen.
I ran Friday morning, was sore Friday night, a little tight Saturday, a little less Sunday, and perfectly normal today. If I'd gotten out to run a few recovery miles like I wanted yesterday, I imagine that would've sped the process up a bit. My run today was back to the low end of my usual pace.
