How'd everyone do last week?

  • I lost 1lb last week. I totally forgot to weigh myself last Monday so that is a 2 week loss. My weight loss has been really slow lately. I'm kind of okay with that since I can see my body changing. Next week is my race! Eepppp! I think I'm ready. DH will be running too but we're not going to race together. We decided that we're not good running buddies. He is too fast so it is frustrating for both of us. But, I'm really glad that he will be there and can see me cross the finish line.

    I've had a couple victories, my "skinny" clothes fit me again. I have both a skirt I bought several years ago and a pair of goal pants my mom bought me around Christmas time. When I tried them on for the first time they didn't get past my knees! 

    Goals for next week: Stay hydrated, chill out on the alcohol consumption (I've been drinking way too much!)

    Goals for the race: 1) have a strong race, mentally and physically 2) Run the whole thing 3) Finish under 60 mins. ( 12 min. miles)

  • Zero movement on the scale. As predicted. I'm cool with that.

    I ran 19 miles last week and lifted twice, including a 3.2mi "race" on campus. Back up to 20+mpw this week.

    This week's goal: Run a smart and light 6mi on Saturday

    This past week's victory: A great 3.2 miles nestled into a 5 mile run. Also looking awesome yesterday in my sun dress at our big Easter/Passover feast.

  • I finally broke through my plateau and lost 1.6 lbs! I was quite happy!

    Successes: losing the 1.6 lbs and getting out walking

    Goal for the Week: get to BodyFlow in Wed, and attempt Combat on Thursday/Saturday...hopefully drop 2 lbs this week and reach my next milestone!

    ETA: I got sucked into an informercial Sunday morning and ended up ordering online the Jillian Michael's Body Revolution package/program...I am actually pretty excited about it and hope that it will give me a 'focus' for my workouts - something to actually follow!

  • After a water-weight gain that built for 3 weeks, (either Allegra or the prenatal vitamins I was taking I think did it) I am back down to 158 from 164 last week. I haven't lost any more weight, but I'm glad I'm back down where I was. I have 33 more days until vacation and hope to lose at least 10 pounds, but even 5 at this point would be ok.

    Erin, do you have any before/now pictures? I'd like to see.

    I haven't taken any that I'm willing to share Embarrassed I took some in my bra and underwear but I'm not comfortable posting them online, I didn't even show DH.

    But here is a picture of me at my heaviest. I was about 35 lbs bigger then I am now.

    I'm the photographer in the family so there are limited pictures of me :) But I can post one taken at the race on Saturday.
