Re: i NEED horizontal stripe drapes - can't find anywhere
Sorry, I am no help, but I COMPLETELY agree with you! Why doesn't anyone make commercially available horizontal stripe drapes? The ones I've seen in blogland have been hand made. The only ones I've seen in stores are the shower curtains at West Elm.
Somebody could make a killing off of making and selling these!
Do you DIY at all? Here's a tutorial on how to paint them:

Or you could probably do this if you buy striped fabric--you wouldn't even need to sew, just use a hot iron and some stitch witchery:

I know, it's frustrating, the DIY route seems way too difficult for me. I've found some lightweight ones online but I need something that's basically a blackout. I have found a couple options on Etsy but they're pretty pricey. It's so popular right now you would think that someone would pick up on it and mass produce them.
Its probably expensive custom stuff, but you can go with

I think you can request the stripes to run horizontally and/or do a banding like shown on the link. I think you can request a top banding as well as bottom.
These aren't exactly stripes but the colors might work for your master.

PBI: I was wondering if you could please post the tutorial link? I have the plain curtains, the paint and fabric medium
Thanks in advance
