Caribbean in December - recs?
My parents would like to take my brother and me and our s/o's on a Caribbean vacation in December but we are in the beginning stages of planning and I'd love any recommendations. We couldn't leave before the 15th and would atay about a week, but a few places we have looked at go up significantly in price on the 20th. We have mostly looked in Aruba but are open to anywhere - preferably somewhere more southern (warmer) and ideally a multi-bedroom house/condo/villa.
Have you been to a resort or Caribbean island you've loved? Tell me about it. Tia!
Re: Caribbean in December - recs?
How nice of your parents! If you all definitely want to rent a house in the southern Caribbean, I'd consider Tobago. It's a beautiful island with amazing beaches. It has a very laid-back vibe and the food is out of this world. The resorts on Tobago are very...old school caribbean, but there are plenty of very nice villas that are rather affordable, especially if you compare to Jamaica or DR. Another option is Grenada, the spice isle. Grenada has a lot of lovely resorts and pink sand beaches.
