International Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Maybe, I am going a bit crazy, but did we use to have more IN nesties here? I remember that we use to have more people posting from the ME, India, Denmark, and from Holland. There were some posters that used to post every day.
I wonder what happened to them.
Do you feel like there are less people now?
Re: The other IN nesties
I haven't been around that long, so I can't speak to what it used to be like. But it definitely has been very, very quiet over here lately.
Do we need to do a daily FFFC or something?
I'm one of the drifters
Its hard to find time to post on the computer right now, I can lurk with the best of 'em, but it isn't so easy to post from my iPhone.
I'll try to post more!
2012 Reading Challenge
Now Nesting from Chicago, IL My nail blog:
The board used to be a lot more active, I think we still get a lot of people reading but not so much posting. I just gave up on trying to post on here from my phone or iPad so I read it all the time, but I'm limited to posting when I've got my mac out either at work or at home, when the twins or DH aren't crawling all over me.
I think we had some awesome people that disappeared because of some conflicts ( Amoro, I miss you!) and we had some fairly dramatic people that also left because of some conflicts and I do miss them dearly.
We've got some newbies popping up here and there that are starting to liven the board back up but they also haven't been posting too much. I'd love to hear more about JiggingJessica's experience in China, Violet's mommy's transition to the UK and I can't wait to hear more about Mexican farming and the chica that's moving to India.
And if the Belgium Harry Potter fan would come back well, that would just totally make my day because I found her stories about her inlaws fascinating.
Now I'm off to go post something completely tasteless to lower the grade of the board even more. Yay for me.
Chronically hilarious - you'll split your stitches!

I'd love for her to update us too.
I haven't been on here much. I've been trying to stay away from my computer more and have been succesful at that. (heck, I grew a whole bunch of plants - I had time for that, and will have fresh veggies this summer! and made/finished my first quilt (really big, heirloom materials from GMIL as a present for MIL).
I still keep up with other social networks through my phone (which I still use a lot) but since the Nest just won't make an app, I hardly visit here.
I'll try to be better, (or worse, slack off at work a little more) and visit you all more often!

I check in on all of you though!
Cool - how'd you teach her to sing so early?
Sorry, couldn't resist. When I first read your post it took me a minute to realize crawling was probably auto-corrected to caroling.
I've only been around for about a year, so I don't have a lot of comparison. To me it just seems like there are waves of activity and then a couple of days when it's dead, then it gets active again. When I run into people on TB who are international I try to direct them over here to liven it up a bit.

Yes.
I've been wondering about this as well. Hey, Boston nesties - did you change names or just disappear!?
lol. is that all that is talked about here these days?
Woohoo! Congrats.
Do it. Your tickers make me giggle.
Haha. I've been thinking the same thing.
