Re: Dutch ladies...craigslist like website

  • Martkplats (the best but in dutch)

Expatica (I didn't have much luck)

    Craigs list (not very good)

Also the American women's club lets people post things

    They have for sale.

  • I kind of hate marktplaats in comparison with craigslist ( I was thinking this TODAY!). There are a lot of stores advertising on it and regular folks sell their stuff quite expensive. I am still hoping for another website to pop up...:(
  • marktplaats does suck, but it really is pretty much the only thing available right now. A lot of stores have bulletin boards with people selling stuff like tables, chairs, beds, bikes and such too - that's usually better deals than marktplaats, but you really never know when to look.

There's always ikea. honestly, ikea isn't much more expensive than buying stuff pre-owned over here. People really just ask ridiculous amounts fro their pre-owned stuff.

When were you moving again (and what area of town will you be in) - there are some 2nd hand markets held once in a while where I know people have gotten really good deals on some awesome stuff.
