I have somehow accumulated a large amount of "hand wash only" tops. From some pretty thick sweaters to blouses. ... I'm the person that just throws everything in the washer on cold and I leave it at that.
How do you hand wash clothes? The sink? The tub? What kind of soap do you use? I don't have a laundry room sink (and never understood them till now)
Any advice is appreciated. The pile is growing lol

This.
I usually do this too, except it backfired on me with my one and only cashmere sweater. The sweater shrank, and shrank quite a bit, it's so short now, I'm so glad I got it on clearance at Target instead of paying full price, because I'd be even more mad if a $50 sweater got ruined, heck I'm still mad that I ruined it at $12. I've hand washed bras before, and usually I just did them in the bathroom sink with a little bit of woolite, like the smallest bottle they have and use a half capful.
This.
Although, I have washed bras and the random shirt or sweater in the sink when I didn't have enough delicates to warrant a whole load. I also have those mesh lingerie bags that I use even in the delicate cycle if the garment has beading or lace or something.
This just made me lol , hard! Sorry about that.
. I always throw everything in the washer together too.
I wish our washer had a hand wash cycle. They are an old stackable set.
I didnt think about putting them in on gentle. Do I just lay them out dry?
Yvonne - my mom had a really nice cashmere sweater and she told my step dad " DON'T TOUCH THIS" he has a bad habit of going around the bedroom and just finding any dirty cloths and washing them all together and throwing them all in the dryer on the hottest setting ... Yeah ruined her sweater. She was not a happy camper. She started hiding clothes from him until she was ready to wash them lol

Yes. Or hang them over the shower rod or on hangers if it is a type of material that won't stretch.
