Thoughts?
I'm FLOORED that Christina cut Jesse. I'm not sure why she didn't cut the opera guy. From all her hemming and hawing, you could tell she knew people weren't going to be happy with who she cut. But the viewers saved him last week, so I'm not quite sure of her logic.
I liked Jordis, but she was the weakest of the 4.
Jermaine makes me swoon a little.
And Christina is such an AW. When she performs with her team, they always do one her HER songs. None of the other coaches do that. And Blake didn't have a single solo during his team performance. He let all the contestants sing. Coincidence? Negative.

I too was floored that Christina cut Jesse. I really thought she was going to cut Chris. I knew she wouldn't cut a girl though just on principle.
I disagree with you on Jordis. I think Raelynn is the weakest of the 4 and she should have been cut. She is just simply not ready. She needs a TON of work. Plus I'm just sick of her. Watching her perform is like watching Toddlers & Tiaras on steroids.
Speaking of being sick of people, I'm sick of Christina's attitude. She's rude. Also she needs to get a clue and stop wearing bedazzled leather bodysuits. This is not 2001 and you are not 20 anymore, honey. And I agree that she's an AW for picking one of her own songs and singing most of it herself. I do not watch this show to hear her sing.
I loved Blake's performance with his team and I love that he chose Heartache Tonight. Such a fun song for his team to do!
The whole instant elimination thing sucks in and of itself. I know they did it for shock value but really? Stick to the format.
Lastly, if I have to hear another Adele cover, I'm going to stop watching.
Ya, after last night I pretty much wash my hands of this show.
I think there's more to the story about why Jesse got cut, but I still don't agree with it. He was definitely one of the strongest voices on there, and for a show called the Voice to cut such a huge..voice...ya, this is why I don't normally watch these things. It was done for shock value and maybe even to make it more of a competition (as in he was too good), reaffirming these shows are rigged.
And Xtina's performance...wow. Me thinks she'd doesn't realize her 30yr old, post baby body, doesn't fit into the same leotard she wore when she was 22. Also, was it just me or in those heels, did it look like she walked weird..almost like her knees were inverted.
Also, Rea Lynne or whatever her name is needs to go away.
I don't even care to see who the public saved tonight, because clearly their votes don't matter. Also, with whatever they're doing with Bieber...I think I can peacefully walk away from this show and go back to Deadliest Catch.
I should rephrase. I wish Raelynn was cut, she deserves to be cut. But Blake (for some reason) loves her. And people voted for her last week, so I wasn't surprised that she wasn't cut. And I do have to say, I liked her better this week than the past several. She needs to quit with the tutus though. She looked much nicer in her jeans and cowboy boots during the group performance. I think if she lost the tutu, people would take her slightly more seriously.
I missed Jesse's performance last night but was surprised she sent him home, I would have rather seen Lindsey go home, not a fan of hers. For Blakes team, I liked Jordis last night, but I can not stand ReaLynn.
And agree with all of the pp on Christina, although from her, it didn't surprise me. She's becoming really rude to people lately and it's not a good look
We were shocked that Jesse went home too, although I like other singers better than him. I had thought with her speech that she might cut Lindsey since she changed her song last minute and didn't seem to "grow" as much as some of the others.
I wish Raelynn would go home too. I think she has a decent voice but her inflections on some songs makes me crazy, although I do agree her performance this week was her best.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
It dawned on me while I was out to lunch that she reminds me of Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland. They both put that really hard, heavy drawl in their voices that just sounds fake.
Did anyone else think Blake was taking a shot at Taylor Swift when he said that he can't stand people who try to come into the country world when they don't live a country lifestyle?
