"The Voice" 4/16 *spoilers possible*
I guess Christina and Blake's artists perform. 2 face instant elimination, while the others compete for our vote. Any last minute predix? Comments? I read that Maroon 5 is also premiering a new song with Wiz Khalifa.
I will predict for the heck of it that Ashley and Jordis are instantly eliminated. I'm such a coward; of course I am going for the ones whom America didn't save. Chris Mann and Erin Millett are possibilities. I don't see Jesse or Lindsay going. No chance that Raelynn goes.

The other 3 are seriously singers and she's like the moth in your mashed potatoes.
Raelynn just needs to come out and be like, "Blake, I wanna fcuk you. That is all."
I don't wanna sound like an oldtimer from the 50's who shakes their fist at Elvis, but she really needs to stop swinging her hips. It skeeves me out.

Ditto. The twang esp. is so stupid. When she sang the word "going on" with like five syllables, I just rolled my eyes.
Christina's choice was shocking, rude, and eliminates her chance of winning. She also rudely stretched out the decision and made the show even more awkward. I was underwhelmed by everyone tonight. No one's worth the vote.
I thought Jesse had a good voice and would win, but in hindsight he had been going downhill since the stellar performance of "If I Ain't Got You." The "Halo" was rather emotionally manipulative with the continual cuts to the doctor.
I know that I will vote against whoever's against Raelynn in the finale. Do not doubt that she might win since she has a whole genre behind her. (I could make a snarky comment about the stereotypical country fan---I hate that genre with a passion---but won't.)

I get that you can't eliminate Lindsey because she's selling on Itunes, and you can't eliminate Chris because he's technically the best singer. I mean let's face it - he's an opera singer. But you get down to Jesse and Ashley ... the choice should have been obvious.
And Blake is just way over-invested in Raelynn. I really don't think a country act can take this. She was awful in the team performance. She's country schlock.

Raelynn makes me want to gouge my ears out with scissors. I tried to like her in the beginning because I thought it was pretty ballsy of her to sing a Pistol Annie's song in the blind auditions, but OMG. She blows.
The flower... the tulle... the swinging hips. JUST NO.
I hated that Jordis was Blake's go-home pick. I wanted Erin to go.
I didn't care for Jesse, so that one was fine by me.
I think it's Jermaine's to win.
I hate Lindsay. She is exactly like Kristen Stewart. Shy and doesnt connect. (in person, I dont know Kristen Stewarts acting)

This whole idea was stupid to me. At least all 4 judges could have voted. The way Xtina said it, it sounded personal. I love her but she seems the type to be jealous of her own talent and resent them not needing her
The others have more room to grow. Wtf?! I have the most room to grow since I cant sing at all...should I be the Voice?
Like that opera singer can grow???!! I feel like I am always listening to an off Broadway play that Joey Tribbiani would have sang and starred in on Friends when he takes the stage...

And wow, I can't believe she did that. I wasn't a huge fan of Jesse, but he was really good.
Ugh, I cannot stand RaeLynn. The fake twang is awful. She's trying way too hard. I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up in the top 4 though, ugh.
I was shocked, SHOCKED by who got eliminated. I was not expecting either one. I thought Erin and Chris would get it. I am so glad Chris didn't because I really like him. I think they got rid of two of the better singers tonight and I just don't get it.
I don't really like her, but I think this week was the best Ashley has done.
I just don't really care that much about either team this week. Adam and CeeLo's teams are much better. Can't wait for next week.
My prediction for tonight is that Erin and Ashley (or maybe Chris) will go... (though I would prefer RaeLynn to go)
AND... please stop having them do Adele songs. Its just setting them up to fail

These are the times I'm glad that I have DVR... there was no reason for a show where 8 contestants performed to be 2 hours long.
I agree 100%. I'm a country fan and it's painful to watch her.
Agreed. I can usually make it through the DVR'd version in less than an hour. The results show is even worse. Last night I didn't start it late enough and was stuck watching it live. It sucked!
Ditto on Rae Lyn reminding me of Toddlers and Tiara's. That's all I can think of when I see her. It is awful. I'm not sure I can watch this show much longer if she stays on it, it just bothers me that they keep her and get rid of better singers!
Yes! She seems very alpha when it comes to her team and she wants everyone to know that if you succeed, it's because of HER and not your own talent. Case in point, she performed her own song with her team as back up singers, whereas Blake chose a classic and let his team take the spotlight.
If I'm remembering right, this is what she always did last season too. She only performed her own songs and all the other teams branched out and did different songs and the contestants were able to shine. She needs to get over herself.

Very good call. I can definitely see where you're getting that Kristen Stewart comparison.
I think it was all ego with Christina. She couldn't mold Jesse and knows she can blow the two women out of the box vocally (even if you can't stand to look at her because she's a sleazy chunk). Ashley has no charisma, she's just blah, and Lindsay is very specialized and doesn't sing loudly enough or with enough power.
