As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. POF- Seriously??
Ok, so I put my profile up about 2 weeks ago on POF and the majority of the emails I have been getting are from guys looking only to hook up. Two of the recent messages just say, "Want to hook up?". I just reply, Nope, looking to date.
Is this the norm on POF? It doesn't say anywhere on my profile that I want to just have a hook up so I'm thinking maybe I missed something that said most guys on that site are looking for booty.
Is this something I should put in my profile, not looking for a hook up? I just don't know how to deter these dudes!

Well when you fill out your profile you do select what you're looking for and mine says dating but I guess it isn't enough.
I think you're right though, I just have to weed through the creepers. I just can't afford Match so it's either this or OKC for now.

I get a ***-ton of crappy weird messages on there but none just blatantly asking to hook up!
I have the filter set to avoid people who are looking for hook ups but I guess it's not working. I'll just have to filter them myself and delete!
Alisha_A- I was pretty shocked that guys have some balls like that but i'm guessing they might have had some luck with booty calls in the past. Sorry but i'm not a hooker like that! Do you get the messages from the gross old guys or the ones that look like they just escaped prison? I get a lot of them too. lol
