**Marie** Hockey Question for You
I need an educated guess as to how much four tickets to a Rangers/Devils preseason game in Albany would sell for. I've tried to look it up online but the September calendar doesn't seem to be up there and/or I'm just stupid and can't find preseason tickets.
The tickets were donated my organization and I need to have an estimated value so I can auction them off.
TIA!

Re: **Marie** Hockey Question for You
How did you get tickets for next preseason when the 2012-13 schedule isn't even out yet? They wouldn't have printed tickets yet.

<a href="http://www.thenest.com/?utm_source=ticker&utm_medium=HTML&utm_campaign=tickers" title="Home DIt's a certificate that the winner of the auction fills out and returns to our contact at the arena, so we don't have the actual tickets in hand. But it does list the game date as 9/26/12.
Ah, interesting! I guess they need the date for the venue availability.
How are you selling them - eBay, Stubhub, etc.? To be honest, preseason tickets just don't sell well - at least not around here. Albany might be different because these are two NHL teams playing in a non-NHL city. The priciest tickets for the minor-league Albany Devils look to be $25 each. I would try for $30 each but that's very optimistic, though worth a shot. Be prepared to bring the price down to $20-$25 each or so...and maybe even less than that if you have to.

how did i miss this???!?!?!
i guess i know where we're heading for a family trip this year. now i just need to get grace a ranger's jersey before marty gets his mitts on her...
You can buy Two*True's four tickets and make one of your kids sit by themselves in another section. Heh.

<a href="http://www.thenest.com/?utm_source=ticker&utm_medium=HTML&utm_campaign=tickers" title="Home DThank you! That makes a lot of sense about being a non-NHL city and perhaps people paying to see an NHL team. I'm selling the tickets at our upcoming gala as part of the silent auction. I'm confident they will sell but had no idea where to start the bidding or what value to put on them. I also have a few certificates for hotel stays near the arena so I'll probably put together a dinner/game/overnight stay package to make it a bit more appealing
Thanks again!
Well they play at least once and apparently that game is September 26th :-)
Albany gtg? lol!
