StriVectin - anyone have experience with it?

I'm considering trying StriVectin-SD for my fine lines/wrinkles.  They are very minimal right now, but I'm hoping to slow them down if possible.  I also have the horizontal lines starting on my neck (bleh).  I'm 42, so I know it's to be expected, but I'm willing to fight it as much as I can.

I got a decent sized sample through my New Beauty Test Tube and I'm going to use it, but I was curious what others thought of it and if it really does what they claim.

Any other StriVectin products that you would recommend?  I have some age spots/sun spots/melasma that I just can't seem to completely get rid of and they have lightening products.

The StriVectin website has 25% off right now.

  • That's interesting, thanks.  While I knew that price didn't necessarily dictate performance, I am a little surprised that StriVectin came in on the low side of average.

I may have to stop at Walgreen's and pick up some Olay after work.

ETA:  I just noticed that the article is from 2006.  It's possible that the formulas have changed, so I think I'm going to do more research before I buy something.

Let me know what you find out!

  • I have a Consumer Reports subscription so I thought I could log in and find more info.  It turns out you have to subscribe to Consumer Reports Health to get their info on wrinkle cream.  Ugh.  This is dated 2011 but they don't give out the product names.  http://www.consumerreports.org/health/healthy-living/beauty-personal-care/wrinkle-products/wrinkle-creams/index.htm
  • I've been wanting to try this as well and just noticed that they are offering a 30-day trial of the StriVectin-SD for just $6.50 shipping and handling. Seems like a great deal for people who want to see if it really works before spending a lot of money! You can get the sample at strivectin.com/freetrial
  • My parents have used it for a couple years now and love it.Works great for them.
