Benefit eye brightener vs. Maybelline age eraser

I was in Sephora and tried the Benefit. I like it a lot, but it is $35. Is the Maybelline one (pink-ish tone) similar? I have very dark circles and concealer alone is not cutting it.

Are there other brighteners that work and are not too expensive. Bonus if it can be found at Target.

edit: it's erase paste and it's $25, not $35.

I'm not sure which eye brightener by Benefit your referring too....they have the 'Eye Bright' pencil, and it does a good job at highlighting the corners, but it's not $35 so I'm not sure. But I do have dark circles, and I use the Age Rewind in the 'illuminator' color, then I use Benefit Boi-ing over that. And I love it. It seems to stay almost all day. And I touch up with the Age Rewind if I need it. It's become a must have for me. And I set it all with powder. I use Bare Minerals 'Well Rested', But I'm sure it's overkill with 'eye' products, I'm sure just my foundation would set it fine.

I've been using this and its great and way less expensive.

I've only been using this for like 3 days but I already like it way better than the Maybelline one (it made my undereyes really dry). I haven't tried Benefit's so I'm not help on the comparison.
