Runners - favorite cross training?
I know I should be doing some cross training as I prep for my half (and just in general). I hate the elliptical. What are your favorite ways to cross train?

I also like the rowing machine and strength training.

Seriously, I feel trapped on the elliptical. I don't mind spin class but it's a pain in the @ss to get there with small dcs. I do like yoga but I don;t really think of it as cross training since it's not cardio (at least not the classes I go to), ditto weights. I think I would like swimming, but I don't usually get into the pool without having to prevent a kid or two from going under.
Swimming. Cycling.
I am anti-elliptical. I don't feel like I get anything out of it.
