Sometimes I feel worthless at work and home. Like it is pointless living.
Re: Worthless
I am so sorry you are feeling this way. First, I agree with the PP--if you are feeling depressed, you really should talk to a professional (counselor, pastor).
The reality is that everyone has felt this way from time to time. When it becomes a problem is when you feel this way all the time and just can't shake it.
Please know that you are not alone. And please know that you are not worthless! Everyone has a value. And there are times when you will feel more valuable than others. Don't feel you have a purpose? Make one. Sometimes giving back is a way to help you feel good about yourself. Volunteer, set goals for yourself personally such as learning something new, etc. Find what makes you feel good and realize you aren't going to be good at everything.
Also, take some time for yourself. Go for walks, get outside. These are some things that I have found helpful.I really feel for you because I have been there too. I am a Christian and I believe that if you are feeling down right now that God is working in your life in ways in which you may not see right now.
Hang in there and most importantly, please talk to a professional to help you if you are feeling truly depressed. Hugs!

Steps on My Spiritual Journey
If you need anyone to talk to, PM me.
You aren't worthless. Not at all.
Please, find some help for yourself. You deserve it.
I know I'm totally new to these boards but please feel free to PM me.
A lot of people go through a period of time when they have a really hard time with life, work, and everything in between. I would suggest counselling and maybe talking to your doctor about it. Surround yourself with positive people and environments and interrupt those negative thoughts with positive ones. I know its so tough but it takes a lot of time and practice. HUGS.
