How much time do you give yourself in the mornings to get ready?
What time do you wake up? What time do you leave?
Right now I get up at 5 and wake the boys up at 6 and we leave the house at 6:30. When we move I will have to leave about 15 minutes early, but I have tons of extra time right now. I love all of my extra time int he mornings to clean, get dinner prepared, and play with the boys. I am nervous about loosing some of that.

Re: morning routine question
I get up between 5:00 and 5:15 and I leave my house at 7:00.
In that time I shower (I take Loooong showers!), do my makeup and hair, get dressed, pack my breakfast and lunch, tiddy up the kitchen, take something out for dinner or get something in the crockpot, and take care of the cat. I also usually have time to watch the news and have some coffee/tea for about 15 mins.

Up at 6:15am, put together a take-in breakfast for Josh, eat something small for my breakfast and have some coffee, water. Prod Josh out of bed at 6:30, and then pack my lunch while he showers. I'm in the shower by 6:45/50, out by 7am. Quickly get ready--out the door by 7:15 on a good day, 7:30 on a slow one (like today!). I walk a mile to the Metro, commute, then walk another half-mile to work (stop to get coffee). I'm at my desk by 8:30am.

My alarm is set for 6:26. Weird time, I know. I hit my alarm setting button by accident and never fixed it. I shower, do make-up and hair (which consists of either blow drying it or putting it up in a sock bun) and get out the door between 7:00-7:15. I make my lunch and breakfast the night before, so I grab that on the way out the door. If all my connections work and there aren't any subway delays, I'm in my classroom by 8:15 (where I'm eating breakfast and spilling mint tea all over the place). My home room starts at 8:45 and the first class of the day begins at 8:53.

I've been changing up my mornings as I'm trying to eat breakfast at home now, or else I'm struggling by the time I get to work.
So, alarm goes off at 6:20 and I get up after a couple of snoozes. I hop in the shower, then get breakfast and go on the computer for 15min or so while I eat and let my hair air dry for a bit. I also lay out the snacks I bring in to work that day (I but lunch at the office, but like to bring my own fruit/veg snacks). Then I blow dry my hair, put on my make up and get dressed. Hopefully I'll be out the door by 8 or shortly after, to get into work before 9.
