lucy and other caruso steam rollers

what am i doing wrong?
i either look like a poodle, or it looks like i havent put any curlers in my hair.
how much hair do you put in each curler, what size do you use, etc.
eta: lmao, lucy - i dont think you are a steam roller. i think you are a steam roller USER.

I usually use a two inch section for each curler and I use a mix of the large and medium rollers (I never use the small or xlarge). I also have to make sure that I get the roller as close to my head as possible to avoid flat head with curls starting lower. I had to order extra rollers.
how long is your hair?
that's about where i am on length. so if the curlers work for you, they should work for me.
