Winter activites with 1 yr old?
Anyone have any suggestions for family activities with a 1 yr. My husband and I are trying to come up with entertaining outings with her. She is a little young for museums and it's too cold for most outdoor activites. Any suggestions?

DD is 1, and she LOVEs the Children's Museum (there's one at Navy Pier and another one in the northern burbs). The water features, especially. Seriously, loves loves loves it. We have a membership because she loves it so much.
There's also Bubbles Academy, My Corner Playroom, Gymboree, etc. both for classes and for open play.
And Old Town School of Music and Chicago Park District both have excellent music courses.
Here is a picture of DD at the Children's museum. We have to bring a change of clothes for her because she gets so soaked.
