So I got the cutest shoes at lunch today and they fit great in the store when I tried them on with those stockings. Well I tried to get them on when I got back to my office w/o stocking and I can't get my feet into them comfortably. It's like they are kind of "sticking" or something. I feel like it I powdered them or something I could get them in but I don't really want to do that. Is there some secret to this kind of thing. I really love these shoes and don't want to have to return them.
Here they are if you are interested

Re: NSOR: shoe help!
Umm, those are super cute!
It sounds like your feet were too hot/swollen. I'm not talking about a hot, sweaty mess or anything, but just warm enough to make them "stick". Can you wear the no-show footies with them or are they too low-cut?

That happens to me a lot. Those stockings make it way easier to get shoes on! I have one pair that I simply have to wear tights, stockings, or nylons with. They just don't fit well otherwise. For all the others I can put a little lotion on before I put them on. I live in a really dry area and having dry skin makes your feet kind of stick to your shoes sometimes. From looking at the pic, that's what I think might be going on with you. I'd try them either tomorrow AM or just rub some lotion on your feet then try.
They're super cute!
This happens to me too. I had a pair of shoes that were "stocking only" shoes until I broke them in enough to wear bare footed. I agree to try them on in the morning and see how they fit.
Cute shoes, btw!
ZOMG I want those. In pink. And orange.
Oh yeah, the question... I agree, sounds like your feet were more swollen. Break them in SLOWLY, and heat with a hair dryer from the inside before wearing them a little bit. Patent leather (even faux) is really stiff and takes some time.
I almost bought the orange pair too! If I can get them to work out I might go back and get them.
Which color did you get?
pink
I hope you can make them work!
I bought some super cute heels a while ago that make squeaky noises AND hurt. *sigh*
