Trouble in Paradise

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

The shared phone plan doesn't surprise me. I know a lot of people on family plans (some that aren't even family) simply because the lines are cheaper and it works for people, so that wasn't a huge deal.
What did surprise me is the fact that they even communicate with the MIL.
Eh, DH and I (32 and 33 year old gainfully employed professionals) are on my parents' family share plan. I pay my mom the $240 a year that the two lines cost (which is about what would cover 2 months of our own plan) and my cheap self is happy as a clam. That said, my mom isn't manipulative or crazy. That's a whole other issue.
