KR has RSV and pneumonia.

Of course this is the week that we didn't have insurance (DH starts his job on Monday) We decided that we were safe for a week and didn't opt into paying 800 for Cobra.

Ever since our trip to Vegas, I've felt completely useless, I was so motivated to clean up our house, but right now i'm all...blegh.

I want to go see Hunger games tonight. These are the last 2 days it will be in theaters in our area. But I don't think I can go because of KR (obviously) Guess I'll have to wait until it's out on video.

What's your random today?

  • Hunger Games was pretty good... but with big, fancy TVs... I'm almost getting to a point of preferring to watch things at home anyway...

I am so procrastinating. I'm exhausted but I need to finish my materials for teaching tomorrow b/c I'm being observed by the Asst Principal... but I really dont want to. I think I have senioritis worse than the kids. All I want to do is kick around all day, clean my house and relax... but I have a month and a half before summer break.

I also need to get my letters of recommendation (a must have to get any job as a teacher) but my admin are swamped and dragging their feet!

Oh and another random... I love Subway cookies. :)

  • Another random:

I forget how old I am. I still feel like I'm 21-I felt like this especially at the college I worked for. I would always bust in with stories and then realize that it happened 10 years ago.

  • I love Shutterfly's new layout options. I know they aren't the best quality available, but for what I want, they are now perfect.

It's super doubles at my favorite grocery store this week and I'm proud of myself for getting $45 worth of groceries for $5.50.

I'm not wanted to cook in like 2 weeks. Which is a bit weird for me.

  • 8 work hours between me and Boston.

    That's all. Smile

And I really PPH the people I work with. I texted one of them on my lunch hour and had the following convo:

me: "I have 25-35 folders to call, several to order, and getting asked a blue million questions today. Your day has to be going better RIGHT?"

them: "I'm dealing with *insert MPITA customer's name here*...trade?"

Touche, my friend. I'll stop biitching now. hahahaha

We got our estimate to get our furnace fixed..it's almost 1/2 the cost of a new furnace. Well..about 1/3 of the cost really after taxes. Hopefully I can talk J into just buying a new one.

  • I am addicted to buying cloth diapers. I seriously have been getting into last minute bidding wars on eBay to score excellent used condition diapers at low prices. My husband thinks I'm crazy, I prefer the term thrifty and possibly a bit obsessive.

We leave for VT tomorrow to attend a conference thing and visit the in laws. I'm dying to take the envelope with the baby's sex in it with us and do a gender reveal cake thing with them. T is being a party pooper and is insistent on staying Team Green, but I'm dying to know if my suspicions about Jellybean being a boy are correct.

I've been eating tons of sugar lately. I bought some ice cream last week and it's gone. Yesterday I ran to the store to get more, along with chocolate syrup so I could make my awesome vanilla ice cream, crushed up Oreos, chocolate syrup, and rainbow sprinkles sundaes. Oh and I got boxes of Easter Nerds on clearance for $0.10, I bought 5 boxes. They're the big "theater box" size too. One box is already almost gone. So much for only trying to have one sweet treat a day.

This is me too, but it's lasting a few months. I'm debating ditching my food blog because of it.

I've been killing it at the gym for the last few months, and people are starting to notice. It makes me feel good.

I've been debating emailing MIL about a birthday gift for Mark... but his birthday is still 2 months away and I'm afraid she'll think I'm nuts.

  • Some of my family got invited to Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kim and Kroy's wedding.

I saw the invitation this weekend...it had to have cost 30 bucks PER invitation.

It wasn't as gaudy as I thought it would be...surprisingly

Dont do that!  I think it's totally fine even if you only update once in awhile.

  • I'm going to see Titanic in 3D tomorrow night and I am probably more excited than I should be!! I seriously can't wait. Love me some Leo!

I'm obsessed with this online game trying to name all of the president's in reverse order. I do it every few days, and I always forget someone along the line, and it's usually not the same person.

Kate, I agree with Lindsay on the blog, even if you only update once in a while. I would miss your blog if it wasn't there!

How do they know them?  Are they some how a part of your family?  That's pretty cool!

  • My random is.. I want baby to either be born tomorrow or wait until next week.  DH has interviews he needs to be part of at his work on Friday and I don't feel like being in labor on the weekend, not that it's the hugest deal. I just want baby not to have to share a birthday with his/her cousins/aunt/uncles, or DH who's birthday is the 29th.. lol Smile

  • My random is that I failed to read that you lose your hair after your baby is born.  My hair is coming out in CHUNKS!  It's disgusting to clean out my hair catcher in the drain multiple times each shower.  I could make a wig by now.

  • My random: I'm back to night time sleep nightmare... I love my family, but I am beginning to wonder if a 4 day trip is worth a week of CIO and misery, especially when my family is just as capable of coming up to see me (and don't because it is 'easier' for me). Maybe a cranky toddler has me a little biased right now, but I'm starting to get a little bitter.
