I just finished reading Unwind (possible spoilers, but not in my OP)

I saw the post in the last couple of weeks about the book Unwind and I decided I should check it out.  I have to say that it was very good, but also a very distressing read.

Has anyone else read it?  I'm trying to be vague and non-spoilery, but if others have read it I can update the spoiler tags in my title if we get more specific. The first half of the book was the hardest for me, the middle lagged a bit, and I was able to predict several things towards the end, but overall it was a roller coaster.

As far as YA literature goes, I actually find this way more horrifying than the Hunger Games were kids have to kill other kids.   I'm not sure how I'd feel if I was a teenager.

  • I have this book on my Nook. I haven't started it yet, but I'm kind of hoping someone will spoil it for me. :)
  • The harvesting of bodies...I had to read it for a YA lit class.  It was a bit disturbing, I agree.

There's more to it than just that, but yeah.  If you want spoilers you can PM me and I'll send them to you.
