Legal - you could probably list that you can stand on your head for 8 hours straight and it would be legal..

Relevant? ... that is a whole other question.

OH I get it. That is the requirement for the job, not what someone listed on their resume. I was confused for a minute.

I'm assuming this is not a requirement for an accounting position but is actually relevant to the job so it seems like it would be fine.

If it's a position specifically helping women breastfeed (ie lactation consultant), I'd be fine with it. Otherwise, it's just odd...

OP-please come back and tell us what the general position is. If is isn't a lactation consultant or wet nurse (do those still exist?), or similar, I can't fathom why this is relevant.

I suspect the only place it might get tricky is not the breastfeeding part, but the fact that only women can breastfeed, so you're essentially excluding half of the population (men) who are a protected class. As I understand it, though, that's ok as long as it's a bona fide occupational qualification (like, perhaps, it might be for a lactation consultant.)
