- The only thing I got from reading this novel was "WTF is her Husband on his Mother's cell phone plan"?

  • I don't have the energy. I started a response two times and decided I didn't feel like it.
  • His mother works for T-Mobile and gets a free plan apparently. I could give that a small pass, my mother would do the same. But she's not that BSC either lol.

  • The shared phone plan doesn't surprise me. I know a lot of people on family plans (some that aren't even family) simply because the lines are cheaper and it works for people, so that wasn't a huge deal.

What did surprise me is the fact that they even communicate with the MIL.

    Oh, FFS.
  • Eh, DH and I (32 and 33 year old gainfully employed professionals) are on my parents' family share plan. I pay my mom the $240 a year that the two lines cost (which is about what would cover 2 months of our own plan) and my cheap self is happy as a clam. That said, my mom isn't manipulative or crazy. That's a whole other issue.

  • I would get the whole mom works for tmobile thing but if the mom is that awful woudn't you sever those ties so you didn't feel like you owed her anything?
