100 days until the Olympics!!

I LOVE the summer Olympics!

So much better than any televised football or baseball game!

I'm also super excited that DH, SS and I will be going to Omaha again to watch the Olympic trials!  This time I'll be volunteering!

That's awesome that you're volunteering, what a cool experience.

  • I am way excited.  I LOVE the Olympics.  Mary Carillo color commentary makes my day.

  • I'm usually all about gymnastics, track and swimming, but I'm super stoked for the weight lifting this year because now that I've started CrossFit, I actually know what the crap they're doing. I can be in awe instead of all, wtfuuuu.
  • Awesome! Which trials are you seeing?

  • I am so excited.  I went to the Olympics when they were in Atlanta and it was one of the most exciting things I have experienced in my entire life.
  • So excited! I went to the Atlanta Olympics for a few days and had a blast.

I'm so addicted to Olympic coverage I typically have it on 24/7...however, I am unexcited over the announcement that Ryan Seacrest has been added to NBC's primetime coverage. Hopefully it's just for fluff pieces and he isn't taking over for Bob Costas!

I know, right?  What the heck does he know about sports?  I don't really care for him.

Love the olympics but the NBC coverage is the worst.  When I lived in Detroit, I always watched CBC.  This year I'll be in Europe and I am really looking forward to watching uninterrupted coverage of a variety of sports instead of all the fluff pieces the NBC network chooses to air.

  • Another Olympic fan here! I haven't been since the ones in Atlanta, and if my boards and graduation didn't fall right in the middle of them, we were going to try and go to London this year.  Oh well!  TV coverage will do!
