Our seller's Realtor has been the biggest pain in the butt since the first day. We placed the offer with a 24 hour contingency...she took 48 to get back with a counter. At that point we were cool with it, because she had a great excuse-- but that's just what we found out it was...an excuse.
Then we waited and waited and waited for her to fill out the paperwork that we have to have for our lender. She wouldn't even fill out her commission paperwork! She wouldn't return phone calls or emails to my realtor, so my realtor finally had to go over her head to her boss.
Today, our termite inspector shows up to do an inspection at the house. We told the seller's realtor to let the sellers know that they'd be there at 11:30 today to do the inspection. She responded that she told them... turns out that what she had actually told the sellers was that the inspection was being done on Tuesday. So when they got there today, all of the doors were locked, and they couldn't get in to do the inspection.
So now we have to wait until Friday. I just do not understand why she cannot seem to get it together. She's making money, so you'd think she'd want to get it moving!

Some realtors are just dead weight! I know we experienced that with our first realtor. It's terrible when you have an experience like that. I feel bad for the seller in this case because if you walk way it will likely be due to her and not the house. Annoying for sure!

YOUR realtor needs to step up and work for you. Knowing that the seller's realtor is not reliable, your realtor needs to plan to be in attendance for all inspections, etc. so that she can let them in the home if necessary. Sure, the seller's realtor is not being cooperative, but your realtor could do more for you knowing this.
