we're closing tomorrow and this morning I woke up thinking, OMG I'm buying a house tomorrow!!

Yes!
I'm pretty sure I had a full-on anxiety attack a few days before closing. I blamed on my hormones

I got my doctor to write me a xanax prescription. BEST thing ever. I would have died without it.
I didn't sleep well (2-3 hours a night) for two weeks leading up to closing. Now that we've had the house a week and I spend every evening painting and fixing things up I sleep like a rock
It's scary, but it'll be great to go home to YOUR house.
I feel ya! We are doing 20% down on a 155k house and I know I'll freak when I see our bank account. I can't even imagine 20% of 550k!

If we ever get to that point, I will be a hot mess of sleep deprivation and heartburn... kinda like I was in the 2 months leading up to the wedding. oh joy.
I think I pretty much had a panic attack during the entire house buying process. I didn't sleep for weeks.
I actually calmed down when we discovered we were FINALLY able to close.
I've been having full-on panic attacks this week - we closed today, and right up until an hour before the closing our lender was still finalizing paperwork with the title company and making changes.
And then this afternoon I got a call that one of our major documents was wrong and the sale wasn't going to be allowed to go through - can you say HUGE panic attack! We got it fixed, but I just about broke down at work today for 20 minutes until it was fixed. I'm not going to be able to sleep soundly until tomorrow night, after the papers have been filed with the city and it's totally done.
