Re: Ojo
Photo bomb, yeah!
I already had a second OB consult because of my contractions and dilation over the weekend. He was just as awful. I lost my mucus plug last week and even with all these puzzle pieces that could add up to a really big problem, he didn't even recommend pelvic rest.
Sorry for threadjacking that one.
I'm going to thread jack this one.
It's not uncommon to lose some of your MP but with twins and contractions and dilation no one is the least bit concerned?
Have you talked to your superior about what's going on? Any way to give you even a day or two a week to work from home?
When does J get home?
All of this. Is there any way you can drive to town near you that might have better OB care. I'm starting to panic for you.
I'm glad Joe is home.
I'm really sorry work has been so bad. I hope you get things figured out soon.
The next hospital is two hours away.
My plan for now is to continue showing up at L&D every time I decide I need additional monitoring. Months ago, our clinic on base said they were working on getting our radiology department staffed to handle pregnant AD females to avoid excess time away from work and that seriously can't happen soon enough. I'm on antibiotics right now because the L&D OB thought my contractions were being caused by an infection. The nurse I talked to yesterday said to let the antibiotics run their course, then reevaluate. I'm talking to my PCM directly about everything since she's far more responsive than the OB.
That sounds like a good plan then.
This makes me angry for you. However, I didn't find out until I had M that I should have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes with R. Maternity care is really lacking, especially for high risk cases.
