Did we discuss the New Jersey / Obama birth cert. contention?

Yes, it's back.  But dammit, sound off anyway so we actually discuss some politics.

Allow me to take you along my chain of article research this morning:

I started with this, link I saw on FB: http://www.examiner.com/article/obama-officially-ineligible  Basically outlines how the case being heard in NJ trying to keep Obama off the presidential election ballot was argued and his lawyer wasn't able to produce a birth certificate, citing she didn't have to but also she didn't have one in her possession.  The 2nd paragraph is the most inflammatory:

Lawyers representing the current sitting President of the United States of America have been forced, under penalty of perjury, to admit that the long-form birth certificate presented by the White House in April of 2011 is a total forgery.

Right?  However, explore further to next article:   http://www.wnd.com/2012/04/obama-lawyer-birth-certificate-irrelevant-to-eligbility/  Where it seems more the case that Hill (representing Obama) didn't admit the cert. was a forgery but instead asserted it wasn't relevant to the case at hand.

Then on to this one:  http://www.therightperspective.org/2012/04/15/obama-lawyer-admits-birth-certificate-is-a-forgery/  Which links to:  http://www.teapartytribune.com/2012/04/13/obama-lawyer-admits-forgery-but-disregards-image-as-indication-of-obamas-ineligibility-damage-control/

So... basically we've come from an inflammatory paragraph indicating Hill made some type of statement(s) admitting the online birth cert. presented April 2011 is a forgery, so articles simply asserting she made those statements but I can't seem to find a direct quote of what they're referring to.

So at this point, I'm left with the Tea Party and these forgery/ineligibility investigators enjoying a great big, "OH-if-wishing-only-made-it-so-but-we'll-say-it-anyway-without-substantiation" and hoping it raises a ruckus again?  On the other hand, if she did indeed say something to that effect, I would find that at the very least interesting.

Thoughts?

  • I'm going to throatpunch the next person who posts an examiner.com article on FB as though it's a real news outlet.  It's a content mill, folks--anyone can and does post whatever BS they want on that site.  And the WorldNutDaily?  Seriously?

    LOL.

Any effort by the TP to blow this story up just wreaks of desperation to me. Obama can give them plenty of other fodder to work with when the election is in full swing, but I actually do believe that most Americans won't give a shiit about this again. The haters are going to hate no matter where he was born but I can't see the people who like him or are at least indifferent towards him using this as a major factor when they vote. I just can't.

  • I'm still confused on how people think that if Obama really was a secret Kenyan Muslim, Clinton's campaign never managed to bring that evidence to light.  Or McCain's. Or Romney's.  Or anybody's.

You know Hillary would have nipped that in the bud.
